Your Vine to Wine Adventure will include some or all of the following activities, depending on the season and the amount of days booked:

• In the Vineyard: Harvesting (picking) grapes, Pruning, Leaf pulling/thinning, Trellising vines, Weeding, Learning the different grape varietals and vineyard techniques and results. Soil, irrigation and pest monitoring. General vineyard care and maintenance. Walk through the vineyard and smell the aromas, touch the grapes, and feel the aura of the first step in winemaking.

• The Grapes: Sorting, Crushing, Pressing. Learn about the different machinery used in these processes.
• Making Wine From Grapes: Preparing to wine to go into tanks or barrels, transferring from one vessel to another, using yeasts and other additives, testing wine during the fermentation process, aging techniques, racking, topping barrels, clean up. See how the winemaker uses art, science and wisdom to transform the grapes into wine.
• Preparing the Wine: Barrel tasting, participate in the winemakers craft of blending varietals, preparing bottles, bottling and corking the wine, labeling the bottles, packing and storing cases.
• The Tasting Room: Pouring wine, Improve your ability to describe and discuss the various wine varietals, preparing the tasting room, management techniques.
• Wine Tasting: Taste wines with the winemaker. Learn tasting techniques and understand fully the wines being tasted. What was the winemaker looking for and was this vision achieved? What might be done to improve the next vintage? Discuss these fascinating topics with the winemaker.

Each full day will include a minimum of five (5) hours. The cost of the day is $100 per day. A mid-day lunch (included) gives you an opportunity to relax, have lunch, and talk with the winemaker and other staff. Please contact us regarding discounts for groups of 3 or more.
