Like you, we love wine.
Probably like you, we have visited wineries, attended wine tastings, and have carefully chosen that just-right bottle of wine at the wine shop.

We are wine enthusiasts! We have traveled to wine regions throughout the United States and Europe, and have even taken the ‘Sideways’ tour in California! We have reached advanced levels of wine education, and can probably recite the names of 50 varietals. But we realized: We have never pruned a vine. Never pulled the weeds or thinned the leaves. Never even picked a grape! Never stood on the other side of the tasting room counter. Didn’t know a thing about how much yeast to add, what a PH level was or what the inside of a wine barrel looks like.

What does all this have to do with enjoying a glass of wine? Plenty! And we wanted to experience it. So we started talking to local vineyard owners and winemakers and were amazed! We tried our hands at the winery activities, and felt what it was like to work in the vineyard, right alongside the staff and the winemakers! We had so much fun and learned so much. That end-of-day wine tasting never tasted so good. We loved the experience and you will too.
